2.0Little place was great and clean upon checking in. Next morning there was a strange smell of urine. Took showers went for a cappuccino and then took off for a day of sightseeing. Upon coming back the smell of urine was everywhere. Was strongest behind the bidet. Tried cleaning it ourselves but only seemed to make it worse. Spent about thirty minutes cleaning and then went back out to let it air out. Came back an hour later and it was worse so we went and booked a nearby hotel and checked out. Upon checkout the hotel Charged us a cleaning fee even though we were checking out two days early due to the smelly condition of the unit. No attempt to apologize or refund. Would not recommend this place.
a good Venice location to stay
8.0This apartment is in a central location with easy access to multiple points of interest like the Rilato bridge. There is a church right in the piazza which a few steps away from the apartment and there is a museum as well. During our stay there was some construction going on the top floor with loud banging resulting in lots of rubble and debris falling onto our items left in the room. This was promptly cleaned, kudos to Elena at Hotel Scandinavia where visitors check in for this apartment. Very friendly staff at the hotel and excellent breakfast.
