6.0The Empire Hotel has seen better days. Our room was shabby at best with banged up furniture, peeling paper, broken blinds and a non-existent heating system. I asked the front desk for a luggage rack twice on the day of arrival and it never appeared. Could not adjust the heat or air in the room. All it did was blow cold air. There were a couple of people at the front desk who were plesant, but on checkout, I was not asked about my stay. Super disappointed overall.

8.0Great location for a Lincoln Center visit. The room with the full bed is teeny tiny, but the king superior was comfortable. The front desk has water, but there's no vending available.

4.0Room was very noisy with outside air conditioner noise all day and all night. Hot water worked but had to waist water for like 8 to 10 minutes before starting to get hot.
