Wonderful hotel
10.0Big room with king bed and sofa in living room area. Kitchenette was great for our happy hour. The wine store is a block away. Just ask the incredible staff and they will give you directions. Always smiling and glad you are there. Let us check in early. Great location and close walk to grand central
Our New Favorite NYC Hotel
10.0Convenient location close to a subway station. Spacious, clean rooms. Friendly and responsive staff. Quiet heating with a thermostat that worked. Speedy elevators.
First Time NYC stay!
10.0We LOVED staying here as first time NYC visitors from Australia! We were upgraded on arrival due to a fellow guest on the floor below having just had surgery and the hotel staff wanted to assist with a quiet recovery which tells you how much they care about guest comfort. We were on the 16th floor. Rooms were extremely generous in size, very comfy and all staff incredibly helpful. Andy the Bellmen was a highlight, helping us out everyday with great ideas and places to go. Truly enhanced our NY experience. Everything was an easy walk from the hotel, restaurants, attractions, subway entrances….a real breeze to find our way around. We utterly enjoyed our experience here and would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you for having us!

10.0Excellent Staff....from the Front Desk, Bellmen to the Housekeepers! Great location and clean, comfortable rooms and beds!! It was quiet and there are many great restaurants nearby. And bonus about a 15 minute walk to Times Square!

10.0I cannot say enough, good things about this hotel. The staff was the kindest and most helpful hotel staff I’ve had in recent memory. The hotel room was clean and big! Location is great. It feels like old school New York in the best possible way. And I thought it was very reasonably priced. We will be back for sure.
A Real Gem in the Heart of Manhattan!
10.0My first time staying at the San Carlos and would highly recommend it. I will stay again on future trips to NYC. Clean, quiet, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, great location, good gym facilities...really exceptional in all these areas that matter to me.
