8.0Nice place overall.
Best stay ever
10.0We stayed for 2 nights and it was really amazing stay. The place is quiet and peaceful. The staff are really kind and warm. I will come back again
A great place to stay in Bangkok.
10.0I used to be a Bangkok resident. Now I'm back on a regular basis to have some extensive dental work undertaken. I'm so happy to have found this place. It's in a great area, near Victory Monument.(which I personally prefer to the Lower Sukhumvit area) It's only a four minute walk to the Victory Monument BTS station, and on the way you pass a lot of great places to eat. The rooms are really nice, the facilities are great, the staff are really friendly and helpful. It even has a pool, and is great value for money.
Off the beaten path but a nice stay
8.0Stayed here at the tail-end of Songkran festival. The location is a bit of a walk from the nearest BTS or Airport Link train stations - the hotel is approximately right in the middle between Ratchapraprop and Phaya Tai Airport Link stations. From Ratchapraprop station it's ~1.3km, and to Phaya Thai station about 1km. If you have wheeled lugguage, either direction you'll be lugging it on sidewalks and bumpy walkways and driveways. Walking towards Phaya Station is Victory Monument BTS station (~500m from the hotel). I thought at first to take the Airport Link to Phaya Tai or Ratchapraprop and then change to Victory Monument BTS to save from having to walk 1km+ from station to the hotel, but reality is that it takes for you to change trains from Airport link to get to Victory Monument BTS station and unfortunately that takes more time (~30 minutes more and up) than for you to walk from Phaya Thai or Ratchapraprop Airport link stations to the hotel. If you are just carrying light lugguage, the walks are OK and safe, but expect to break a sweat in Bangkok weather. If you have lots of heavy lugguage, you're best to flag down a taxi or order a GRAB car to pick you up at the station. The hotel itself feels more like a minimalist service apartment or dorm. Rooms are decent sized, and they have actual table and chairs you can sit and enjoy a meal or coffee, and it doesn't feel like a hotel work-desk. There is a microwave oven and decent sized fridge *much bigger than a hotel minibar, and they have plates, bowls, forks and spoons in the cupboard, as well as a separate sink for washing dishes (althoughmy room's faucet for dishwashing was broken). The bathroom is decent sized with a partially covered shower stall that is impossible not to get the rest of the bathroom wet while showering - it has a glass wall installed but it only shields half of the stall. The hotel has its own massage spa (only massage services, not a beauty salon), and guests staying get a 10% discount. I was only able to book a massage on my last day, as the shop was under renovations for more than a week. The massages are reasonably priced and unlike some of the other massage places in the city, the massages don't come with a lot of loud chit-chat and strength of the massages are decent. There is a decent gym guests can access with a room-key, and it has all the basic equipment you need for a good workout. The pool is at the center of the building right next to the gym, and both the gym and the pool operate without attendants. There is no restaurant at College Haus, but there is a small coffee kiosk right across from the check-in area on the ground floor - only serves coffee, tea, smoothies, and they sell packaged cakes (convenience store types). While the hotel itself doesn't have a restaurant, there are cafes and local eateries about 100m from the entrance and throughout the street of Rangnam Alley. There are also multiple 7-11 convenience stores - I have never seen any country with three 7-11 stores located all within 200m from each other, but that's what you'll find here. The King Power DutyFree mall is right across from the alley where the hotel is located, and the Pullman hotel is on the other side of the mall. Unlike areas like Sukumvit, Nana, and Asoke, the entire street of Rangnam Alley is free of girly bars or seedy massage parlors. As noted earlier, the only drawback maybe the distance you need to walk to access BTS or the Airport Link. To walk to mega-malls like CentralWorld, it's a 2km no-cover walk on the street - but it's all quite safe, and never during my stay did I have to deal with pushy street hawkers. Overall, this is a hotel that doesn't feel like a hotel, but has everything basic you need from a hotel. If you don't have a lot of heavy lugguage or mobility challenges, this is a very good option for your stay while in Bangkok.
Wonderful hotel
10.0The reception is extremely kind, helpful especially Aof & Mind and a lady work in afternoon shift. The room is big, clean, comfortable. They have the gym, laundry, spa, swimming pools. Spa is perfectly good, I have 20% discount due to I am the in-house guest. Location is near to the BTS so very easy to go to other places. Will recommend to other people.
Fantastic stay
10.0Stayed for a week. The hotel is fairly new. Everything is sparkling clean. Has laundry self service machines and tumble dryers. Rooms are nice, clean and new. Great location, in a quiet area. Nearby 7 eleven on main road. Great services, and friendly staff and receptionist. Has security. The gym is pretty decent. The swimming pool is great. Can't think of anything negative. Will definitely stay again.
Enjoy recreation amenities such as a 24-hour fitness center or take in the view from a garden.
