The canal view from our balcony was wonderful! You could see gondolas all day, and there was a nice breeze that came in through the doors. Hotel staff was so helpful. Communication was great and easy to understand, she arranged a private water taxi for us, and the room was clean, quiet, roomy, and comfortable.

Great location. The room for 3 was comfortable and a reasonable size. The staff were incredible. We accidentally left a mobile in our airport taxi transfer, the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful in organising the logistics for getting it back. The staff always asked if we needed help, especially with transfers etc. The air conditioning was great too.

− The stairs we’re a bit when coming home. It did flood one night when it rained! Nothing crazy just wasn’t prepared for it!

Dumb superior was a lovely place to stay. Location, views, assistance all great.

The person in charge running went way out of her way to help with all sorts of things on arrival while we were there we needed to figure out how to get through the airport.

− Nothing with the place. Going to Venice for an old person who has trouble carrying his suitcase when he has to because there are stairs over the canals, may not have been the best choice. Previous visits at an earlier age were much easier physically, though Venice remains a very special place.

Absolutely what we needed for Venice vacation

We booked this room at the last minute due to bad conditions at a different hotel. Staying here saved our vacation. The room was beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable and we could hear the gondoliers singing on the canal outside the window. Staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond to clean as fast as possible to allow us to check in early given our situation of moving hotels. We felt so well taken care of here. They helped us with everything...navigating where to buy vaporetto ticket and schedule for transportation back to the airport, and the closest cafe open in the morning. I only wish we could have stayed here longer as it was the perfect respite for when in Venice.

Comfortable room - strong shower - central location - lovely staff - would stay again!

Great location - central but quiet. Lovely view of the canals, where you can see the gondalas go by (sometimes with a musician on board). Almost blackout window coverings with noise cancellation so you can sleep in the night. Good shower and bathroom, with views of a different canal. A steamer in the room which was unexpectedly helpful for ironing quickly. Welcome drink in the fridge on arrival and water and room cleaning every day. Very helpful staff, who go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and are prepped for your time in Venice.

− The noise was cancelled from outside, but you could still hear everything in the corridor outside the room, between the walls, and through the floors. Luckily, it wasn't too ridiculous - only one morning where upstairs was clearly packing and stomping around at 4am - but some investment into this would be great as to not to disturb, as it would depend on your neighbors to what you heard. There is also no elevator (which is v. v. common in Venice), so just prepare to carry your bag up the stairs. Nothing to prevent me from booking again, should I make it back to Venice - which also blew my expectation, it's a beautiful city.
