10.0We had an excellent stay at Hotel Gotico. It is centrally located to many restaurants and shops. On our first night we asked for a restaurant recommendation. The gentleman at the counter gave us one and told us how to get there. He made reservations for us as well. Once we got to the square, I was confused about the name of the restaurant so I called our hotel. The gentleman said “where are you? Wait there.” He walk to us and showed us to the restaurant. That was wonderfully kind of him and so appreciated!! All the staff were wonderful! Just as a tip, tour vans and buses are not permitted in the old section of Barcelona so you will need to walk to a meeting point. It is so much calmer in the old section so it is worth the walk to meet a tour. Taxis are permitted.
