4.0I had stayed at Hotel de Montesquieu a couple of years ago and truly enjoyed it as a charming boutique property, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, this time was the complete opposite of my previous experience. Upon arrival, I was shocked to discover that the hotel’s AC system was out of service. Management did not notify guests in advance, and we were only informed after check-in — an unacceptable lack of transparency for a hotel of this level. To make matters worse, when I had to reach under the bed to retrieve something that had fallen, I was appalled to find heavy dust and dust balls accumulated there. This level of cleanliness is simply inexcusable. Overall, what was once a delightful stay turned into a very disappointing and frustrating experience. The lack of honesty about the AC situation and the poor housekeeping standards make it difficult to recommend this property anymore.

The location is ideal, situated just off the bustling Champs-Élysées on a tranquil side street, allowing for a peaceful retreat from the lively atmosphere while still being within easy reach of all the action.
