Fine
6.0The room was nice and they were helpful with the upgrade. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. The F&B was very limited with very lacking breakfast and the coffee shop had a person who always seemed upset for some reason. The location was fine but probably not as great as when we stayed in east village. Better for new people for New York and more lively. The staff and front office staff were a little disappointing. When we checked out not one person helped us with our bags or even offered. We had a late check out and we heard a staff member yell to a colleague saying yay they have gone out of room xxx. We were also yet to check out and they had already placed a happy birthday on our door for the next guest. Not great given we hadn't gone yet. Also as an exploring you get a 2pm check out always, but no one told the room key or the wifi which cut off promptly from our rooms. But not from my phone access.
A Little Gem!
10.0Our first impressions when we walked into the hotel weren't the best. I initially thought it felt quite dark and didn't have the "wow" factor I was expecting. However, that opinion quickly changed once we reached our room. The room was absolutely immaculate, beautifully presented, and the beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept in at any hotel. It really exceeded our expectations. As we explored more of the hotel, we discovered the wonderful restaurant, the lovely little café, and the stunning rooftop bar – all of which definitely had the wow factor we'd been looking for. What truly made our stay special, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team was warm, friendly, welcoming, and couldn't do enough to help. Their exceptional service made us feel right at home. This hotel is a real hidden gem, and we're so glad we stayed here. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and will definitely be returning.

8.0Great location, relatively quiet, clean room and friendly staff.
− NYC weekend rates in summer are high. No issues with the room other than it lacked character.
Expected Better from Hyatt
2.0I stayed at this Hyatt for a short work trip, and the check-in experience was honestly very disappointing. I was checked in by Diego at the front desk. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but this felt like more than that. There was no greeting, no recognition of my Globalist status, and the attitude was rude and disrespectful from the start. When I asked about a room upgrade, Diego told me everything was sold out, even though the Hyatt app was still showing room availability. What bothered me the most was that he seemed to imply I could tip him for a better room. That felt completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I really hope corporate looks into this, because this kind of experience is unacceptable and honestly not what I expect from Hyatt.
