10.0David is very nice and caring. He takes the time to answer any questions, and having generational family ties to Venice, knows the city really well and gives good advice. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is really good, not just muffins and tea. I would stay here again.
Clean family run small hotel.
10.0A clean small family run hotel. It’s dated but still in decent enough shape and it’s clean. Decent breakfast and an owner who is vested in making sure his guests have a good experience. Slightly off the beaten path but that’s good as it’s still close to the major sights and it’s quiet. Great value for the money.
Worth it for the rustic setting
8.0Hotel is difficult to find during the night as the light above the entrance isn’t working and so it is very easy to miss the building number. The door handle to the entrance also came off in my hand one evening. The hotel itself if very clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The building is very rustic and amazing to look at. Most of the facilities in the room were as expected but the fridge wasn’t working (apparently stopped just before we arrived) so we couldn’t refrigerate bottled water. The bed is comfortable and the breakfasts were good.
