L’albergo si trova in una posizione centrale e strategica sia per i mezzi pubblici, dove si raggiunge qualsiasi destinazione, che per la ristorazione e lo shopping. La camera è in ottime condizioni e relativamente spaziosa con locale doccia diviso dai servizi. Colazione di buona qualità e abbastanza variata. Un buon indirizzo per visitare Berlino

Top Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Kurfürstendamm und doch äußerst ruhige Zimmer (wir waren im 6. Stock), die stylish eingerichtet sind. Es war alles sehr sauber und das Bett auch sehr bequem! Unser Highlight des Hotels waren jedoch die durchwegs herzlichen und bemühten Mitarbeiter*innen, die einem stets ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zauberten! Tipp: unbedingt das Starlight Frühstück probieren, es lohnt sich!

Friendly, quite hotel with a great location

The value for money was excellent. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Even though the hotel is in a very central location, it was surprisingly quiet. My room was facing the courtyard and I slept with the window open every night without hearing any city noise. I always like to sleep with fresh air, so this was a big plus for me. I also don’t really understand the negative comments about the breakfast. The selection was not huge, but everything was fresh and of very good quality. For a German hotel, I thought it was really good. There were the usual egg dishes on the buffet, and you could also order options like poached eggs with avocado. There was fresh fruit, different kinds of cheese and cold cuts, pastries, and everything I needed for a great breakfast. The best part of the hotel was definitely the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The housekeeping team, the restaurant staff and the reception team were all kind, helpful and genuinely cared about making our stay as pleasant as possible.

− The only drawback was the road construction in front of the hotel, so Uber couldn’t stop directly at the entrance. The hotel has nothing to do with it, but that was the only negative thing I noticed.

Disappointing given the good reviews - only partial AC, noisy roadworks, and dusty.

The staff were friendly and tried their best to help me when things were not going as expected. Slight challenge on arrival was the person didn't speak much/any English and gave me a German T&C agreement to sign, which had to be translated.

− They have a rule "for sustainability" reasons that the AC is not turned on unless it is 18C or above outside. However, my room never dropped below 21.5C and was often above 22C. Their view was I just needed to get up in the middle of the night and own the door/window to let cooler air in. However, there were roadworks outside, which started arriving around 6am for an approx. 7am start. You either did with loud people (2300-0230) shouting outside, or roadworks (0600 onwards) as the AC just didn't good enough. There was no disclosure of this before booking. They were also fully booked which meant moving wasn't possible (although they did offer a worse room...). The room was also quite dusty, particularly above the bed where the hidden lights are. They did resolve this for me on the second day, but it meant there were a few mites in there the first day, which wasn't ideal for effective sleep!
