“Easy Access to Transport, Clean Rooms — But Water Issues Were a Letdown”
8.0We stayed at Sirena’s Suites from May 26th to 29th, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel was clean, the room was tidy and well-maintained, and all the basic facilities were in place and functioning well. It was a comfortable stay for our family of five, including three young children. One of the major advantages of this location is how easy it is to get around. The tram stop is just a short walk away, and taking the tram was very convenient and straightforward. It made exploring the area much easier and less stressful, especially with kids. However, we did encounter a significant issue during our stay. One evening, when we returned to the room, there was no water—and this continued through the night and into the next morning. This was particularly challenging with young children. We later found out from locals that this was due to tunnel work affecting the area’s water supply. While it might not have been entirely under the hotel’s control, we strongly felt that the property management should have informed us ahead of time and taken some steps to prepare or offer alternatives. Additionally, there were power outages on two separate mornings, although the electricity was restored by the time we returned to the room each day, so it didn’t have a major impact. Despite these inconveniences, I would still recommend Sirena’s Suites. The property is clean, comfortable, and well-located, especially for travelers who plan to use public transport. I do hope they improve their communication and planning around local infrastructure issues in the future.
