Seedy Accomodation.
2.0I would never book hostel type accommodation, but that’s exactly what we ended up with here. The place was badly misrepresented, being old, quirky and in need of refurbishments. The carpets in the public areas were threadbare in places. Encountering other “guests” in passing, left you with an uneasy feeling. Where “Apartment” comes in, I do not know. We were lead to believe that this accommodation was separate from the hotel, but it was just a room in the hotel, the size of a prison cell. Nothing like the picture on the front of the confirmation email from Booking.Com. The “kitchen” area was a joke, with the electric kettle and microwave powered by dangerous trailing leads that didn’t reach the floor. We were given another room, which although bigger, was totally uncomfortable and lacking facilities. Where were the promised “toiletries”? The wifi did not work. There was constant noise at night from loud voices and doors banging. The receptionist was the rudest person I have ever met, and treated us with contempt as if we were a total nuisance to her. All the pictures on line make the place look lovely, but the reality is nothing like it. After complaining to Booking.Com, we checked out after two of our seven booked nights, on the promise of a refund. Quite the worst accommodation I have ever encountered. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

6.0Um die ganzen vorigen Bewertungen und Kommentare etwas zu entkräften: Wir haben für 2 Übernachtungen für 2 Personen insgesamt 150€ bezahlt. Finde, da sollte man die Erwartungen niedrig halten. Zumal wir bewusst das Hotel nur zum Schlafen ausgesucht haben, ein Wellness-Tempel ist das natürlich nicht. Dementsprechend bekommt unser Aufenthalt ein solides OK. POSITIV: - direkte S-/U-Bahn-Nähe (2 min zu Fuß) - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Frühstückscafé (Empfehlung "Cafe au Lait") und Restaurants (Empfehlung "Luardi") sind um die Ecke - schöner Altbau - sehr nettes Personal am Empfang - Zimmer und Bad sauber, wenn auch renovierungsbedürftig - Frühstücksbuffet viel Corona-bedingt leider flach, stattdessen durften wir uns an kühlen Getränken bedienen, wie wir wollten NEGATIV - sehr hellhörig und vom Hof her sehr laut, da im Hof auch Wohnungen sind, von daher schallt es nach oben - Zimmer renovierungsbedürftig, Bad sollte mal saniert werden - "Doppelzimmer" bestand aus 2 zusammengeschobenen Einzelbetten, die sich verschoben haben, sobald man sich an das Kopfende angelehnt hat - Türen nicht wirklich massiv, kein Safe im Zimmer FAZIT: Wer mit niedrigen Erwartungen kommt und nur was zum Schlafen sucht und tagsüber lieber Berlin erkundet, ist es perfekt. Man ist in 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt und hat alles was man braucht in Laufweite.
Nice room for the price
8.0Not bad, size of unit was good for price. Nice windows open to a courtyard view with trees and birds. Surrounding area was a bit sketchy. Train station 50 meters away

10.0Perfekt läge. Mycket prisvärt. Lungt och skönt. Frukostbuffe'n är utmärkt. Nästa gång till Berlin är Abenstern första valet, som 7 gånger tidigare!

8.0Hotellet er et helt greit 3* hotell, god frokost, greie rom, hyggelig personale, sentral beliggenhet, men en litt eldre bygning. Prisgunstig!
