51 Imbiah Walk Sentosa, Singapore, SG
A very disappointing experience due to poor cleanliness, widespread insects, outdated facilities, and poor maintenance.
2.0Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and the location was reasonably convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Unfortunately, these were the only positive aspects of the stay.
− My stay was well below expectations. The cleanliness was poor, with insects present throughout different areas of the resort. There were also visible signs of algae and dampness caused by rain and water runoff, giving the property an unclean and poorly maintained appearance. The facilities are outdated and do not match the photos advertised online. The room was uncomfortable, and the overall value for money was very poor. The beachfront dining area was also not clean, which is unacceptable for a place serving food. In addition, the central laundry room is located in the basement along the main guest entrance and exit route, creating an unpleasant first and last impression. What was most surprising was a sign stating that “insects and reptiles are part of nature.” While I understand that the resort is located in a natural environment, this should not be used to justify the presence of insects in guest areas. Guests should reasonably expect effective pest control and proper maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable stay.
Completely relaxing and quiet away from the city.
9.0It was quiet and sedate, very relaxing.
− The pool and the roof top bar seemed to have been close but the space not rejuvenated into something else which seemed wasteful.
If I was staying more than night I would’ve got a complete refund and left for a better resort
3.0The nature was nice. Local wildlife being around and the beautiful plants. The pool was as advertised and probably the only saving grace of the entire property. Worms were cool.
− The resort feels like it hasn’t been touched since 2006. It is slowly rotting in the jungle. Broken rotting wood. Rusted metal everywhere. Outdated maps tattered and dirty. Dust and grime everywhere, including reception. Spaces that are no longer in use like the “villas” or the fountain near reception just being rotting shacks and stagnant ponds for mosquitoes to breed. Abandoned locations near the pool and garden that clearly used to be bars but are now just gross huts full of filth and random equipment. The rooms we booked and were advertised do not exist. The resort does not have adjoining rooms suitable for families. And they danced around at check in before finally admitting this and having to put our children in a seperate room. Ongoing construction ruins any escapism one might find in the nature. Loud power tools starting as early as 8am and going all day and well into the night. Overall the entire resort needs to be closed and completely redone. Or close it forever and admit that it’s not suitable for paying guest anymore. The staff at reception were rude and kept trying to lie about what was available and what we had booked. Call them out on it and they fold admitted to lying and shrugged off any responsibility
Overhyped place with poor look and feel
6.0Nice swimming pool
− Not worth it - just goto a SPG property ; property looks run down
Would book again for the pool
8.0Amazing pool and natural surroundings. It is lovely to take a swim while taking in the wildlife. I loved the fact that they hire differently disabled people.
− Older facilities that need a refresh. The cafe is average.
