8.0This is a quirky little hotel with fabulous interiors. We stayed in a twin room on the top floor, complete with our own roof balcony, which was much needed in the hot weather. Contrary to some past reviews we have seen, our room was perfectly clean and tidy, with crisp white sheets, fresh towels, and complementary soap, shower gel and shampoo. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely try to book this hotel next time we visit London.
− This hotel doesn't have modcons like lift or air conditioning, which didn't bother us, but might be problematic for some. There is no breakfast option, but given the abundance of amazing artisan bakeries and breakfast places in the local area, this isn't a real problem. We went to Gail's bakery and had an amazing tea-and-sourdough-toast breakfast.

− The bathroom floor was hot, the room was very hot, obviously due to the current heatwave. Fridge was hot inside and smelt odd. Air conditioning woukd have been greatly appreciated. We didn't sleep as the room was so hot, windows were open We didn't get a key to the property and were told at midnight the doors were closed and the receptionist goes to bed so we needed to be in by midnight!
