8.0Nice hotel in a good area. All the major sights and museums are within walking distance. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It is near a tram stop, which is essential for travelling around Istanbul.
TINY DATED ROOMS
6.0Negatives: -run down hotel in desperate need of reforms as outdated and damaged installations. - tiny outdated room as not the room advertised by Agoda. Misled/fraud. - views facing old buildings despite previous request -dated and damaged spa. Tiny swimming with cameras in top. Not safe for women’s privacy. -dry sauna not working -mould in shower -steep small dangerous roads to town centre (20 minutes )due to ongoing inconsiderate fast and heavy traffic. Positives - “Droni”make tall receptionist and cleaning lady nice, efficient and kind. -nice breakfast but repetitive and not good bread, meat or juices. -laid back and art deco hotel.
Recommend for a great stay
10.0The Antea was a pleasant surprise. Location is incredible in the heart of the Sultahnamet. The street in front of the hotel is not a thru street so traffic noise is minimized. The staff are incredible- pleasant, efficient and smiling. I was impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the hotel. It is now my go to when I visit Istanbul .

6.0The stuff were fantastic however if you’re booking for the pool or the gym be careful it’s more like a paddling pool size swimming pool and the gym is something from back to the future

8.0This hotel is in a perfect location for Istanbul! The lady "Hemet" in reception. the young beautiful lady at Breakfast "Diogo" plus the housekeeping lady make this hotel WORTH IT! These 3 ladies are GEMS! The rooms are dated but comfortable for example the curtains don't fit the windows, however it's in a quiet location with lovely bathroom great shower comfy bed, just small and dated. The breakfast is OK lots of choice but no beans; no fried eggs, unusual cereals but lots & lots of fresh salads, fruits, breads and lots to drink hot or cold. Close to trams; Bazaars; Hystoric sites; GREAT LOCATION 👍🏾
