Conveniently located, slightly overpriced, bland hotel with great breakfast
8.0The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the U metro station that just a few stops from Alexanderplatz (to the east) and Potsdamerplatz (to the west). Excellent breakfast with a huge choice of cooked items, breads, pastries, cereals and fruit - impressive. There are self-service left luggage lockers in the dingy basement.
− One of the two lifts was broken during my visit (and had been for over a week) meaning tedious waits to get thrugh the building. The basement breakfast serving area is a little dingy and was also quite stuffy and airless # on the mornings that staff randomly decided to keep all the windows shut. Considering the big size of the hotel, the room price is rather high - perhaps this helps fund the 6 granola options at breakfast!
