Lovely hotel and location perfect, rooms are clean and the breakfast with stunning views is wonderful. All staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble, would recommend this hotel.

We arrived late at night and were given a room on the 2nd floor. As the lift was being worked on the super friendly guy on Reception did say that we had a very small room (although this room had a double bed, I would think it really should be a single bed and be used for single occupancy to be fair) He told us if there was another room available the next morning we would being given the opportunity to move. We did move to the 1st floor to an absolutely beautiful big room. Breakfast room, restaurant and bar however was on the 6th floor. Quite rightly so for the absolutely stunning views, but for myself (71) and partner (66) 6 flights of stairs each morning was quite a feat! 🙂 The lift being out of service was no ones fault to be fair and the staff could not have been more helpful, from Reception team to restaurant team always very willing and always with a smile, nothing seemed too much trouble for them 🙂 Would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly return.

Great hotel for short and long stays.

Lovely hotel with kind and helpful staff. The rooms were also nice and clean just like in the pictures and the heaters were always on so won’t feel cold inside in such season. Great location for visiting the famous mosques and bazaars as they were only a few minutes walk. I’d say good value for money and lives upto the 4* hotel rating.

My second stay at Adamar - the first was maybe 10 years ago - and I was a bit underwhelmed with my stay. The location in Sultanahmet is good if you want to visit the Blue Mosque & other such sites ( all of which are now very pricey indeed), but for my next visit I would choose an area of Istanbul which is less touristy & more authentic. The Adamar hotel itself is quite nice. Room is quite small, the shower is good, housekeeping vg, soundproofing good if the window is closed (otherwise you hear the 4am call from the mosque etc). Breakfast was only fair, in my opinion. Reception staff were helpful and pleasant. Good location to access airport shuttle and trams etc

Fantastic hotel and restaurant. Very polite staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great restaurant with panoramic view of Istanbul and the Hagia Sofia. You could just sit there all day and look at the view. Nara was a treat to deal with in the restaurant and warrants a special mention. I would love to come back

Fantastic hotel, set in superb location with 360 views!

This is a fantastic hotel, with the most amazing panoramic view of most of the main tourist attractions in Istanbul. The food was delicious and the service could not be faulted! Would particularly like to thank the bar/restaurant staff who made our holiday all the more enjoyable and gave some good tips on places to visit. We had a slight issue with our TV which was fixed straight away. Room was comfortable and clean and, despite the Istanbul traffic, remained quiet.
