Excellent location when visiting Rome
7.0Excellent location within easy walking distance to the station, metro and bus terminal, comfortable beds, modern room and bathroom, pleasant staff, good continental breakfast (breads, cold meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt etc, no eggs, bacon or sausage). Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the area. Within walking distance of some of the attractions i.e. Colosseum, Forum etc. Luggage storage facility available if required.
− No news channels in English, very poor WIFI, impossible to set the water temperature in the shower which varied from very hot to ice cold as you showered, no tea / coffee station in the room. €50 fee to extend check out from 11 am to 2 pm and €26 fee for early check-in both to be paid in cash. The credit card when checking in has to be a physical card not a virtual card resulting in my payment through Booking.com having to be credited and then re debited again at the hotel with my physical card which leaves you more open to card fraud.
