Splendid little hotel in fantastic location - five stars!
9.0The 24/7 reception staff were charming (Merci Denis!). Excellent location, moments from restaurants (great for people-watching) and the River Seine. Notre Dame is only a few minutes across the river, but the Ile Saint-Louis area has character and doesn't feel particularly touristy. The room was compact (like all Paris hotel rooms) but perfect for a couple travelling with hand luggage. The bathroom was superb, great water pressure and good lighting. Although our room overlooked the street it was quiet. Thank goodness for aircon in this heatwave!
− Breakfast was a self-serve buffet - confusing as the food was set up in two separate areas in the cellar. Some help with the coffee machine would have been useful. Although the cellar was cool, the ceiling is low, no natural daylight (obviously!) so it felt claustrophobic.
Have already recommended to a friend.
8.0Room nicely decorated. Very good location. Felt safe in the area. Within walking distance to all the necessity and many popular area. Small fridge available in the room which is a big plus in summer. Not that close to the metro but walkable.
