Solid Choice with Great Breakfast and Location
8.0Overall, I had a positive experience at this hotel and would consider staying here again on my next visit to Venice. The Highlights: The complimentary breakfast was a wonderful perk, and the front desk staff were consistently helpful throughout our stay. We were given a top-floor room on the third floor, which turned out to be excellent. The blackout window coverings were particularly impressive—they completely blocked out light and helped us get great sleep. The room and bedding were clean, and the location is fantastic, with easy access to everything Venice has to offer. Room for Improvement: Communication before arrival could be better—the hotel didn't respond to my pre-trip message, and the location was a bit tricky to find initially. Some clearer directions would be helpful. The room itself could benefit from better lighting that's more easily accessible, and in general, everything was nice and spacious except the bathroom and shower which felt a bit cramped. The hallway carpets outside were dirty and could use refreshing. There's only one elevator, and it moves quite slowly, so factor in extra time if you're on an upper floor. Would I Return? Yes, I would stay here again. The free breakfast, helpful staff, clean accommodations, and excellent location outweigh the minor inconveniences. Just be prepared for a cozy room and don't expect lightning-fast elevator service.
