2.0I'm judging this on a hotel scale, not a hostel scale. To say the rooms are tiny is an understatement. Cruise ship rooms are bigger. It's also not cheap. The area is under intense construction. There was a jack hammer going off at 7 am 10ft (4 meters) from my pillow! Having to carry our bags up 4 staircases to check in was something I could do without. Thank God we were only there 1 night!

8.0Booked online to stay here during a brief stopover in Barcelona, and boy did I luck out in terms of being right in the middle of the action! I walked everywhere I needed to go, and it is right above a metro station. Yes it was noisy on the street at night (and until dawn, really), and the street is all torn up out front, but the convenience for someone visiting the city for the first time made up for it. The room was good and the staff helpful when I needed them. The breakfast was just meh for 10€, but I’m an American used to eggs, pancakes, etc. Would definitely return.

10.0Check in was easy, staff showed a lot of care and allowed us to store our bags until our room was ready. Ivan was great and helpful to show us the area around the hotel. Will definitely come back !
