Déçu par cet appart. 3eme etage sans ascenseur.. appart sale. Draps, coussins frigo etc...la literie du salon etait impraticable.... nous nous sommes plaints au gestionnaire qui a fait nettoyer l appart à nouveau... ajout d un sur matelat mais pas top... ce fut le point negatif de notre voyage. On nous a pris une caution de 300 dollars qui n a pas ete restituée 15 jours apres notre retour...

Great place to stay with your family

We absolutely loved the condition of the apartment, the location, and the service. Can recommend it for any small family or couple of friends. Close to the subway and buses, close to central park and still close to times square. Amazing! We would have given this the highest score - if it wasnt for construction going on both in the apt next to ours and in the building next to ours. Noice was so loud so we couldnt stay in the apt at all during some of the days. However, the staff was extremely service-minded and offered us several solutions to the problem, including offering us to stay the final nights at a new location.

Comfortable apartment in Manhattan

Great apartment, well located and has everything you could need. Owners are very competent and friendly. Only thing I could complain about is the central heat, which was a bit too warm for us, but they did warn us about it and told us that it was okay to just leave the windows open. Otherwise perfect for us. Great location. Awesome restaurants on the same block

This little 1 bedroom apartment is in a very convenient location (East 53rd/3rdAve) for business meetings in mid-town or even jumping on the subway for downtown. Given the location and price I wanted to rate it higher but few things stood in the way: 1) Heat - you cannot control the heat in the unit as it is centrally managed. When I arrived it was cranking and the host mentioned that was because it was cool the prior weekend. He said he would turn it down but it did not seem to work. I called them about an hour after checking in and they came to turn it down. Halfway through my visit the heat cranked back up again and I had to call again. The host said "if it is too warm then turn the window unit AC on". Not the response I was looking for because (see #2 below). 2) Smell - On the ground floor of the building is a Thai restaurant. On the backside of the building is some venting unit that runs most of the day. For some reason the restaurant kitchen fumes make their way into the unit and it always has a strange smell. 3) Bed - The bed mattress seems to be about 20 years old with coils that spring up all over the place. If they simply put in a newer mattress the stay would be alot more comfortable.
