Lovely, well-located Rome stay let down by paper-thin walls and an unresponsive overnight team.
8.0We stayed for one night on our last day in Rome, and overall it was a great experience. The location is excellent — about a 10-minute walk from Roma Termini. The reception staff were extremely sweet, accommodating, and helpful. The room itself was clean, beautifully done, and well equipped, and we appreciated that toiletries were provided, which wasn't the case at some of the other properties we stayed at during this trip.
− The one significant downside was the soundproofing — the walls are very thin. We had a neighbor return from dinner around 10 PM and turn on the TV to what sounded like an action movie playing right above our heads. We needed to sleep early for an early start the next morning, but despite knocking, the neighbor didn't respond — they'd apparently fallen asleep with the TV on. We texted the hotel team about the noise, but didn't get a reply until the morning, by which point we had already checked out. We could still hear the neighbor snoring at 5 AM. It's unfortunate, because everything else about the stay was lovely, but the lack of soundproofing (and the delayed response from the team overnight) made for a rough night's sleep on our last night in Rome.

10.0The staff were great! Really helpful and attentive. The pillows were the comfiest pillows I’ve ever played my head on. Great location in Monti walking distance to everything.
