Location.

− Wasn’t clean. Staff not great. Won’t let you keep your luggage there for the day to explore on check out, highly disappointing.

Handy location

− Whilst understandable with an older building to a degree, both the walls and the windows did nothing to block out sound. Not enough pillows provided, one of the beds was falling apart, held up by wooden blocks. General cleanliness was ok but the mattresses were awful. All in all whilst a good location for what we were doing, it's the worst nights sleep in many a year. There seemed to be renovations work being carried out, place needs a good paint. Main hallway at reception was laden with working materials which wasn't a good look. Pictures very deceiving. We did have a laugh at being given a kettle, that couldn't be used as the cord wouldn't reach any of the plugs safely. We'd have had to literally stand and hold the kettle to boil it. We didn't bother. Plug above the bed was loose and chargers kept falling out the plug. The price was inflated for the product if I'm honest.

− Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing from start to finish. To begin with, the hallways were extremely narrow, making it difficult to carry luggage to the room. Once inside, the room itself was far too small. There was barely enough space for our suitcases, and moving around was very uncomfortable. Even walking from the bed to the bathroom was difficult. The bed occupied almost half of the room, and the mattress was in very poor condition. The springs could be felt through the mattress, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathroom was also in poor condition. The toilet was heavily worn at the base, giving it an unhygienic appearance even when it was clean. The wooden furniture, both in the bathroom and throughout the room, was badly damaged and looked as though it had been chewed or deteriorated over many years. Finally, the bathroom ceiling was covered with mold caused by moisture, and the water did not appear to be clean, which was particularly concerning. Overall, the hotel is in urgent need of renovation and much better maintenance. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here.

− The lack of curtains, the furniture almost falling apart, the shower only having the temperature scolding hot, being woken up in the middle of the night with allegations of smoking (then maybe showering), the windows also threatening to fall apart. When we asked for a curtain, we were told they could fix it the next day (we'd told them we were leaving early the next day), then later, after the kids were asleep, they offered us a new room.
