10.0My teenage daughter and I stayed in a Queen Deluxe room for 3 nights, and we couldn’t have been happier. It was FANTASTIC! There’s absolutely no way we could have found a better room at a better price in Manhattan. Here are a list of the things we loved: - the room size was more than adequate. We had a queen bed, a closet, plenty of drawers, a large desk and chair, and a nice-sized bathroom. - our view out of our large window was quintessential NYC neighborhood. The top of the Empire State building lit up at night was also visible. - As two females traveling alone, we never ever ever felt unsafe: not in the hotel, not in the neighborhood. - The location was superb! We were surrounded by metro stations, making it quick and simple to get anywhere we wanted to go in the city. We also took advantage of the $1.50 pizza across the street as well as the cozy and clean little neighborhood market for fresh foods, fruits, and drinks. - The breakfast and breakfast room was more than adequate. How can you complain about delicious and free bagels and muffins, coffee, hot tea, hot cocoa, and a clean dining room to sit in with a view of the neighborhood? - We got into the city earlier than we could check in, and our flight out was four hours after checkout. No problem! The hotel was more than happy to hold our bags for us in a locked room, and while we waited, we explored the city. - Wifi was flawless. Easy to connect. We will absolutely stay here again and again and again!

8.0Good location close to Penn station. Shopping nearby. Amazing bagels and muffins for complimentary breakfast. Room dated but clean. Bed was super hard and uncomfortable.
