Not only was the apartment nice but Vicki was so amazing helping me out. She was great in making our birthday special. She also went above and beyond calling around for me when I broke a bone and things were closed on Sunday. The apartment was very close to almost everything and super easy to get around.

Arrival: We arranged a taxi from the airport through Booking.com (highly recommended) and arrived at the apartment effortlessly. Since we had received the access codes in advance, checking in was very easy. The owner also sent us messages to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. Stay: What a wonderful apartment within walking distance of the charming Plaka district and close to Athens’ historic landmarks, including the Acropolis. The apartment features a spacious living room, a bedroom with plenty of storage space, and a clean, modern bathroom with a large shower. The private terrace is a lovely place to relax, enjoy a meal or a drink, and even catch a glimpse of the Parthenon. The rooftop terrace of the apartment building, which is open 24/7, offers a breathtaking view over Athens and the Acropolis — a truly special place to unwind and enjoy the city skyline. Tips during your stay in Athens: • Take the hop-on hop-off bus – it takes you to all the major sights and, at around €20 per person for two days, it is a very affordable way to explore Athens. • Don’t forget to take a refreshing walk through the National Garden – it is the perfect place to escape the busy city for a while, relax, and enjoy some peace and greenery in the heart of Athens. • Make sure to buy your tickets for the Acropolis in advance and, preferably, plan your visit early in the morning. Otherwise, climbing the hill in the heat can be quite challenging, and it may be harder to fully enjoy this incredible historical landmark.
