A fabulous hotel in the wonderful city of Athens
10.0What a wonderful stay I had at The Modernist Hotel, it’s super stylish, really well located and easy to get to all the major sights, an amazing and very friendly young staff, from reception, the cafe and the bar, the cleaning staff, and crowning it all a fantastic roof top bar where you can drink looking at wonderful views of Athens. I’m definitely coming back there again next year.

8.0Friendly staff. Great location walkable to nice bars and restaurants. Good breakfast. Nice rooftop. Unfortunately, the bathroom is not practical. Water goes everywhere when you are having a shower because there is no tray, door or curtain. Window in the room was not accessible because it was above the bed frame.

10.0Lovely, well kept modern hotel in a lovely residential neighborhood. Some sights are walking distance and a Metro stop is right nearby. The thermostat control is obtuse—didn’t seem to work the same way two days in a row. Front desk can set it remotely. Breakfasts are substantial.
