6.0We stayed here for part of our honeymoon. The location was excellent and the room was spacious for Paris. However, having stayed at multiple 5-star hotels, we came in with certain expectations—and unfortunately the service fell short. We requested a restaurant reservation through the front desk but never received any follow-up. On the day of our departure, we called several times for help with our bags, but no one ever answered. When we went down ourselves, there were no other guests at the desk, which made the lack of response even more frustrating. On our final night, we visited the rooftop bar without a reservation. Since it was our honeymoon and our last evening, we politely asked if we could move to a better table that had just been vacated. The server declined, saying it was reserved—which seemed odd, given it was the same size as ours. Not long after, a group of young women the server appeared to know personally were seated there instead. This felt unprofessional and left a negative impression. While the property itself is beautiful, staff attentiveness and friendliness were lacking compared to other 5-star hotels we stayed at during our trip. These service issues ultimately made the experience feel more like a 4–4.5 star stay.
