10.0Rob is an excellent host very friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. The property is in a great location, close to everything you need. It was neat, clean, and well-maintained throughout my stay. I had a very comfortable experience and would definitely recommend this place to other travelers. Thank you, Rob!
It is more of a homestay and not a bed and breakfast so be prepared for that... excellent location.
6.0The location was wonderful, and I had initially been excited about doing a homestay (this is definitely more like a homestay than an airbnb or hotel so just be prepared for that if you stay here). The host had very good recommendations about things to do in town.
− The host is very particular about how things are done, things like how much water you put in a kettle, how you use the kettle (not leaving water in it etc.), how doors are opened and closed, etc. I came in exhausted from my flight and was asked to practice opening and closing the door to make sure I didn't do it too loudly (happily, I did pass that test). Offered to allow me to do laundry there upon arrival but then seemed very frustrated when I approached him about it, and so I did my laundry elsewhere rather than have any sort of conflict on my vacation. For these reasons I unfortunately found it very difficult to relax when I was there and tried to stay out as much as possible.
