7.0− Solo hay un baño/ducha para 4 habitación doble, hay que esperar mucho para que puedas usar el baño/ducha. En los 5 días que hemos estado no ha venido nadie a limpiar el baño/ducha. Te dan una toalla para los 5 días que hemos estado.
Reasonably priced and clean guesthouse close to subway
7.0Host provided excellent directions to guesthouse. Comfy bed. Clean apartment and room. Host stocked the kitchen with plenty to eat for breakfast and for snacks: cereal, milk, fruit, juice, snack cakes/pies, etc., which I really appreciated, as it saved me both time and money. I liked the Harlem location because it was a regular neighborhood with folks just going about their days/nights - nothing fancy. The guest house was a few blocks from the bus I was on when arriving and the train I took each day to get around. Host was very responsive when I contacted him with questions. AC unit in room worked great. Friendly neighbors in the building.
− I knew I booked a room with a shared bathroom, but I didn't know it would be shared by 4 rooms. (I assumed it would have been only two - I should have asked.) This made it difficult to get into the bathroom, even to just quickly use the toilet. I was initially given the wrong code for w-fi; after receiving the correct one, it worked well for a while but then was spotty. Thin windows - I kept the AC on longer than usual to drown out noise. On the information sheet host provided, there was a statement saying that talking to the neighbors in the building was strictly prohibited, which I found quite odd.
