Zeer vlot bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer, kort bij enkele bezienswaardigheden, in het centrum, compleet uitgerust, veilige buurt, alles voorhanden om er een geslaagd verlof van te maken!

Misleading description, some maintenance issues and highly unprofessional behaviour from the host.

The location and the size of the property were good.

− We arrived on Easter Sunday in heavy rain only to discover that the key collection point was located approx 500 metres away from the apartment in a lockbox attached to a wall by a riverbank. Having to walk this distance in poor weather was inconvenient and could have been better communicated. Upon arrival at the apartment, there were no basic provisions such as bottled water. Given it was a public holiday and all nearby shops were closed, we feel it would have been reasonable for the host to provide at least some basic essentials. While the apartment itself was a good size and in a convenient location, the description significantly overstates the standard. It does not meet luxury standards expectations. There were several maintenance and safety issues, including a broken chair in one bedroom, a damaged bedside drawer and multiple non-functioning plug sockets. The listing also advertised EV charging, however this was misleading. The chargers actually belonged to the neighbours and were not available for guest use. When we raised this with the host, the situation escalated quite significantly. The response was highly unprofessional, we were shouted at over the phone, threatened and at one point told to leave the apartment. This was particularly distressing as we were travelling with children. The host also demanded a deposit of €1500 on the night before we were due to leave. Its fair to say that she was furious that we were asking questions about the EV charging and she responded by saying we should look for one in the street and that she had children and didn’t have time to answer our questions. We also had an issue with the parking garage as to access this you have to get out of your car, walk through locked gates and through a locked door, into the lift down to the basement where you have to search for a string which you then pulled to open the garage. The of course you had to make your way back to your car which you have had to leave unattended on the street.

Die Lage der Wohnnng, sowie die Ausstattung. Großzügig und gut Platz für sechs Personen mit Baby. Ruhige Lage. Auch die Infos waren sehr gut.

Location

− Only one shower worked, only half of the apartment was heated (in November), steamer had water sitting in it for our duration of our stay (owner said that's normal), owner didn't have solutions for shower/half heated apartment. Shouldn't happen in an apartment this new.

Lovely apartment in a really really good location. So convenient, safe, beautiful and tranquil but 10 mins walking distance to busy Alexanderplatz.

− For non-Europeans who are not used to the Bora hob, it would have been good to have simple instructions on how to use hob, which we didn’t think was that intuitive. Spent some time looking for instructions on YouTube.
