9.0Accueil très sympathique de notre hôte. L'appartement est très bien situé et confortable. La petite terrasse est très agréable. On a beaucoup aimé notre séjour.
Comfortably renovated apartment in a really lovely location
10.0Very cosy, comfortable and well equipped apartment in a great local neighbourhood. Balat is by no means undiscovered, but it has a more traditional and authentic Turkish feel to it than Beyoglu where I’ve previously stayed. The street the house on is quite quiet, but it’s also is just a stones throw from the main thoroughfare, with lots of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants and it’s also very close to both Balat and Fener tram and ferry stops, for a quick, easy and scenic ride to the main tourist sites. I imagine the are is gradually transitioning from a traditional conservative residential area to something a bit more cosmopolitan, but the balance still seem to work well at the moment. Sencer, our host very friendly, informative and flexible - and also runs the best pizza shop in Istanbul - be sure to drop by his Store, Pizzarotti about 100 metres from the house! We ate there on several occasions and also enjoyed personally delivered takeaway on the wonderful roof terrace one evening.
− The flat is well maintained and generally very clean - a small request - just the skirting boards and woodwork in the bathroom could do with a thorough clean as it’s Al a bit dusty. Also the bed is very comfortable but the mattress base was very squeaky whenever you moved in bed!

9.0Il quartiere Balat è molto gradevole. La casa è silenziosa perché si trova in una strada piccola. Nelle vicinanze è possibile trovare supermercati, fornai e ristoranti. La fermata del tram T5 è vicina. È possibile utilizzare la bella terrazza sul tetto, che è stata arredata con tavoli, sedie e divani. È possibile utilizzare la lavatrice. Il proprietario è molto gentile.
