Quiet, well-equipped apartment downtown

An absolutely fantastic location right in the centre. For the first few days we didn't need public transport at all — all the main sights are within walking distance: Sagrada Família, Casa Milà, Casa Batlló and La Rambla. We also easily walked to the beach in Barceloneta. Along the way you come across beautiful architecture and plenty of great spots to sit down and relax. I really appreciated the excellent air conditioning, which is ducted from the living room into both bedrooms. The temperature stayed pleasant all day long, and the AC is also genuinely quiet. Another big plus was that no street noise reached the apartment at all — we slept wonderfully. The apartment is very well equipped, including a Nespresso machine. A nice touch is the keyless entry — you access both the main building door and the apartment door via a code.

− The tap water is quite heavily chlorinated, so we'd recommend drinking bottled water — there was also a faint smell of chlorine in the apartment. In the otherwise well-equipped kitchen we missed having more large knives. The little balcony off the living room is really tiny and we didn't use it at all. The bathroom is on the smaller side, and we would have welcomed a drying rack or more places to hang towels.

La climatisation était efficace

− L'insonorisation inexistante que ce soit de la rue ou des voisins du dessus. Le menage approximatif : poil et dentifrice dans la douche, trâce orange sous les lits, four et crédence non nettoyer. Présence de blatte dans les parties communes rester plusieurs jours écrasées au sol. Taxe de sejour réclamer a 9h du matin le mardi, en sonnant a la porte. Canapé quelques peu usagé. Le balcon inexistant puisqu on ne peut même pas y mettre une deux chaise voir même impossible a mettre le linge dehors.
