Second floor apartment close to San Marco square.

The location is great. The apartment is close to San Marco square and there are windows that open up and let light in. Being on the second floor is nice, but there are only stairs and they are very narrow. Only one person at a time can travel the stairs. The apartment was clean (albeit the bathroom smelled moldy and musty, but there’s a lot of moisture all the time in that room and in Venice). The exterior door of the apartment complex has a code to get in, besides the lock on the apartment making for a safe feel. There is a washer but it takes forever to do a wash cycle and does not always get the clothes clean. The apartment has some old furnishings in it which gives it a good feel. There were plenty of towels for the bathroom. The listing says toiletries but it only had the single packets of shampoo. The air conditioning works to cool off the apartment in tandem with the fans provided. The bedroom features an overhead fan which helps cool off the bedroom. The bedroom has plenty of room. The host provided a bottle of prosecco upon check in which is nice. The host prefers to stay in contact via What’s app (not through the messaging on Booking.com) and it took me a bit to realize this. If you book this listing add their number in WhatsApp so you can communicate with them. We never cooked in the kitchen. There was a little mold in the refrigerator in the door on two shelves. We used the refrigerator to store medication in and also to cool drinks. We had two adults and two teenagers stay in this apartment.

− The queen bed dips in the middle; there is a visible ‘u’ shape to the bed. There was street noise our last two mornings there as businesses are receiving deliveries and the city is ‘waking’ up. The noise is considerable and starts early (around 6:30-7am). This is not the hosts fault and part of being close to the square. There is a canal opening steps from the apartment building which is where lots of deliveries sounded like they were being made from. The noise was always coming from outside on the street with loud voices and the sounds of carts. The shower drains very, very slowly and the hot water comes and goes- but it does come back, which is nice. Even with the items that were not great, we would still come back to this place- the location is very convenient.

環境清潔乾淨、床墊舒適。公寓的地點位置離主要景點都非常近。

− 馬桶的坐墊不符尺寸，上廁所時感到很不自在與不方便。衛浴間的排水系統不良，連續用水就會淹水至腳掌，洗髮時壓力很大。

The instructions before arrival were very good: text and video on how to reach the apartments. Near San Marco Square, river bus station, plenty of restaurants and stores. Apartments keep old style with modern equipment. The stay there was really comfortable and the host was friendly. In check-in there was a compliment - a bottle of good wine.

La ubicación es excepcional para visitar Venecia. Muy cerca de San Marcos y del puente Rialto. Muy limpio y con todo lo necesario para la estancia. Muchas facilidades por parte del propietario. Muy recomendable.

Fantastic location in the middle of San Marco, spacious bedroom and barthroom. We didn't cook at home, while kitchen was fully equipped. We also had a welcome bottle of champagne. The apartment located on the second floor which is unique for Venice. Highly recommended for 2 people.
