Great apartment. Spacious, Italian style, very clean. Giudecca is a great place to stay, aside from crowded space. The host was very helpful and the air conditioning works very well

− Small detail but the blackout curtain of the room is blocked which let a lot of light in the room. It deserves to be fixed. Then what you should know is that staying in Giudecca means taking a lot the vaporetto and adds a budget. The apartment is 8min away from the vaporetto station.

We got a 4th floor flat (with lift). All windows open onto a canal view. The flat was bright, airy, uncluttered and everything worked. We did not use the TV, no need with views like that. Breakfast with views, slept with windows wide open and got some really nice breeze as their air flows through the appartment efficiently. No mosquitoes. The host was very communicative, send the code on time (if you follow the procedure, there is no issue at all). the host kindly put the aircon for us before our arrival, but we switched it off when we figured out it wasn't needed. Get your supplies for breakfast and take it easy every day. 3 nights recommended, less would be too rushed, and allow half a day at least to wander around Guidecca, which is the residential area of Venice, much nicer.

− Who has hidden the wine glasses? In a prosecco land, it's not a good idea not to have nice wine glasses in the flat. Basic provision such as tea, coffee, would be great. There were salt, sugar etc., but that first breakfast supply would be nice. But it is imperative to provide wine glasses please!! Trash management is a big issue in Venice, we understand that, but to enjoy the flat without prosseco will be missing a trick! Otherwise, it's the place to be.

Lovely apartment with a water view...better than Venice

Loved the views of sunsets and the water. Generally comfortable and well equiped for longer stays. Nice access to hotel services next door. Guests should be aware that they can use the Alliguna water taxi service for a modest fee which docks in front of the hotel instead of walking to more distant water bus stops.

− Only negative was the very firm and saggy bed...bad for side sleepers. Guests will need to walk 10-15 minutes to find a grocery store. .

Away from the chaos of central Venice, this is a blissful quiet retreat. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of lagoon. Not of canal /Duorodorso.

− Had to ask for wifi code. No welcoming coffee caps. Only 2 pillows on bed. Can be a bit of a problem getting to lDuorodorso at rush hour. Vaporetto's packed.
