chill and nice, in a calm not touristy area, very good communcation with the owners

9.0The bedrooms were modern and comfortable. Everything was clean. Neighborhood was quiet and nice. The apartment is on the third floor with quite steep stairs.
− One of the bedrooms had windows that could not be opened and it was very hot to sleep in there with the warm weather.

Despite accommodation problems, we enjoyed Amsterdam, especially our visit to the tulip fields.
5.0Beds were comfy. Property basically furnished. Good shower and useful to have separate toilet.
− Biggest problem - NO WI-FI. The internet details supplied were not recognised so we had no connection. Proved impossible to connect with the owner. Window in second bedroom wouldn’t close and it was very windy weather, so the room was cold and wind blew across the bed all night. It also meant that the doors kept banging so we had to block them with shoes! Bedside table had a lamp, but nowhere to plug it in. 2 mugs supplied for hot drinks, but 1 didn’t have a handle! Stairs very steep and dark. Not suitable for anyone with a disability. Not easy access to main town as it is at least 2 tram rides. We used No.19 and then the metro, so buy GVB ticket for duration of your stay.
