The location was excellent, right in the canal district so perfect for visiting the tourist sights. We also enjoyed the dutch townhouse experience.

− It was quite noisy but as expected in such a central location.

Great apartment, very clean, easy check-in and check-out, and good communication. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. One thing future guests should be aware of: there is a €300 security deposit, and in my case it was refunded 15 days after check-out. I did receive the full amount back, but it's worth keeping in mind if you're planning your budget.

Pleasant stay in Amsterdam and good for families and groups w/o mobility issues.

The property was in a good location and very close to transit. The space had cool decor and games available as well as patio.

− The tub seemed like it was clogged and meant there was just a pool of scummy water pooling when showering. The maintenance staff was still present even after check-in. There was apparently something messed up with a cabinet door and we were not really able to enjoy the space/relax upon check-in.

Location was excellent, views were nice. House had a lot of character and cool features. Boardgames were a nice addition. Be ready for stairs, but this is to be expected. The second bedroom is up quite a steep and narrow ladder and has low ceilings so consider this before booking if this is an issue mobility wise. The actual stay itself was pleasant overall.

− The deposit and communication. Responses took quite a long time, some messages were ignored completely. Our bath wouldn't empty without a plunger (and considering we had given a €300 deposit we didn't want to be charged for it) - when we messaged to ask if this was normal we never got a reply. The deposit itself was weird - it has to be a bank transfer or paypal and couldn't be cash. This is quite annoying if you don't have an international bank account already. Cash would be much easier (and the return process would be better). The deposit also doesn't get returned for up to 2 weeks. Ours took even longer as they transfer it from a bank that only processes on weekdays. We also received no communication whatsoever that the transfer had been made. It was only on follow up that I was told it was with the bank being processed. There was also alot of pressure to leave a good review to get the deposit back. We were told 7-14days for the return payment. We left the house spotless and asked after checkout for confirmation that we would receive the deposit back in full. We received a text back asking for a review, our request for confirmation completely ignored. Once I said I was not comfortable leaving a review prior to receiving my money back I was then told it was now going to take the full 14 days, and I still didn't get confirmation that it would be the full amount. When questioned on why a simple bank transfer takes so long they said 'that's just how our money cycle works each month.' This is a shame as the house was actually quite lovely and the location couldn't be beat. Unfortunately the anxiety of not knowing if I would get my deposit back after or not ruined the stay for me.

Fantastic location, would happily visit again!
