The location is very Good near supermarket and restaurant!

− The stay in this apartment was not pleasant at all. First, there are many stairs and the steps are very narrow to climb with suitcases and shopping. The second inconvenience was the washing machine, which was broken and produced dirty water and a horrible smell. The third inconvenience was the curtains in one of the bedrooms, which provided too much light in the morning. And all the curtains were broken, which was quite inconvenient and took away my privacy. There were some dried flowers on the very old dining table which caused me a horrible allergy, and to solve this I bought other flowers. Another very annoying detail was that there were no cleaning materials such as a mop and a bucket to keep the environment clean, and finally, the worst of all was the visit of a mouse in the middle of the living room which caused a very disgusting and uncomfortable night. They need to do some pest control and renovate the apartment; there was no light in the main bedroom and living room it’s broken !!!

I would have looked for another place if I had known of the issues beforehand.

The location was great. The third floor view was nice. There was two bathrooms and showers which was great! The larger bedroom was very comfortable.

− The three story walk up was challenging. The place is in need of a good deep clean, update and some decorating. The smaller bedroom smelled very strong of cigarettes and the washer which was in that same room had standing rancid water in it which could not be drained as the washer was broken. We were not able to sleep in that room because of the smell. We texted the owner but got no response back.

Not worth the money. This place is run down and it was a bad experience

Almost nothing

− I like quirky and from the pictures it looked like it, but its just an old apartment with the paint peeling from the ceiling. I have three main complaints. 1. They advertised that there is a toaster. There was no toaster. I asked for a toaster and after 7 nights, no toaster. 2. They advertised and have a picture of a washing machine. They however did not mention if it was working or not. It was not. I asked that it be fixed and even called the emergency number to ask. After 7 nights the washing machine was never fixed. 3. The window in the living room could not close. The latch did not lock. If the window blew it pushed the window open. Its currently winter in Amsterdam. I requested that the window be fixed. It was not so it was a very cold new year. Not great with a small child. Also only one workable pot in the kitchen…..but lid is missing so cooking a meal took a while. Imagine that there were plugs to plug in all the bedlamps. Dont get your hopes up. So thinking back at the 7 nights in this apartment, this place is a joke and should not rent at 50% of what it is rented at. Its not worth the money charged even closely. But when you get there its too late. This is obviously my bad experience and my opinion. But please read all previous reviews.

Opportunity missed with good apartment but poor facility and unresponsive staff

Apartment itself was fine, good kitchen

− Beds had big dip in middle as were very old and worn, washing machines did not work, light switches did not work, staff were unresponsive to requests, had to call and message 3 times just to get Wifi info, tried to get washing machine fixed but no response for 3 days and no show when they finally said they would come, an opportunity missed as apartment itself was nice.

Good space but needs improvement

The space was wonderfully large and beds were very comfortable

− Lighting throughout space was very poor and reaching the staff took days

As a former Amsterdam resident with a mature, flexible and creative family we managed nicely.
