9.0Beautiful room with a high ceiling, on the "belle etage" (2nd floor) of an old-style Berlin apartment building, with nice furniture. It felt like a room in which you enjoy spending time during a short or longer stay in Berlin. Big windows that you can open. Excellent modern fan for warmer days. Very clean. Small functioning fridge. It kept milk fresh!
− Nothing. Others might worry about noise, but there was none. Just pleasant city sounds from restaurants. Sometimes nice music too. The street has very few cars; it's been turned partially into a walking zone. Popular neighborhood with young people, close to many restaurants and cafes; supermarket nearby. Big outdoor market on Wednesdays and Sundays. Close to a major subway station (5 minute walk) and buses to all sights in Berlin. WiFi was free and worked great.

7.0hotel is located in a nice old building, near the subway station, a lot of cafe and restaurants around
− We were given a ground-floor room with windows facing the outdoor restaurant, so it was quite noisy until late at night. There was no air conditioning, which meant we had to keep the windows open, making the noise even more noticeable. The staff were friendly and helpful, but they tended to overexplain very basic things. While they were clearly trying to be accommodating, the explanations sometimes felt a bit excessive and unnecessary.
