For us a disappointing place to stay
6.0Location was great and the houseboat looked lovely from the outside. It is well appointed inside. Communication with the 'owner' was good.
− The idea of staying on a houseboat in Amsterdam was a romantic notion but in honesty we found it not great. Bear in mind we are in our 70s so this might not apply to younger couples. The accommodation is small and quite cramped, although the photos make it look bigger. The bed is raised up and not easy to get in and out of. The accommodation had not been cleaned when we arrived...at 2pm which I suppose was a little early but I got the feeling the cleaner had forgotten to come. And then of course it is not serviced while you are there.

− It was poor value - not much provided for the cost . And the owner was very grumpy with me when I locked myself out - which was an easy mistake and he could have been nicer . Not very good bathrooms .

9.0Quieter area of Amsterdam. Relaxing in the evening watching the boats go by. The bed was very comfortable for me.
