− Quite small and bedroom access quite tricky but we are not spring chickens!
The boat house in Amstel
8.0Location and view was awesome. 5 mins walk to the metro station. Jenny and Masha were extremely nice hosts. It was very hot the first night. They bought another fan for us. The houseboat was very cute. Wine , water and cookies were kept to welcome us. The bed was very comfortable. Coffee machine and coffee pods were fabulous that host had left for us.
− No sink in the washroom, had to climb up a spiral stairway and use kitchen sink, bedroom was downstairs had no ventilation and without a wall fan was quite stuffy in this hot weather. Some light sheets should have been provided too as duvet was a big no in the heat. Suitcases had to be kept on the top floor as dragging them down via the steep spiral staircase was quite risky and tedious. Also there were too many artifacts and less space in the living area to keep things. Hence I had to remove everything to make more space

10.0The whole houseboat experience was fantastic.
− It was just a bit of a long walk to get to everything. We should have worked out the trams. The stairs in the house are not for the faint hearted. Steep and very tight spiral staircase. Wasn’t a problem for us.

− Nothing we didn't like. One note of caution.The spiral staircase down to the bedroom was a bit tricky and possibly not suitable for elderly.
