The location of our accommodation was excellent. It was very close to the main tourist attractions, which were easy to reach on foot. Right outside the building, there was a city bus stop, making it very convenient to get around. The main train station was also about a 20-minute walk away, or you could easily reach it by taking the bus from the stop in front of the building, or by Uber or taxi.

For us, this was the first time paying for accommodation directly instead of through Booking.com, so it was a little confusing at first. We also had to pay an additional €40 for a late check-in. Since our flight landed at 10:00 PM, this wasn't something we had chosen ourselves. A self check-in system or key lockers would make the process much easier, although I understand this may not be possible because payment is made on arrival. The room was an acceptable size, and the photos on Booking accurately reflect what you get. However, the furniture is quite old, and the room is much darker than it appears in the pictures. We had booked our stay from June 18 to June 23, but Rome was experiencing an extreme heatwave. As I was pregnant, we decided to return home on June 20 after only two nights because we were concerned about my health and the baby's well-being. The room wasn't very comfortable in the heat. There was a portable fan and a wall-mounted air conditioner that had to run constantly, and both were quite noisy. The bathroom also contained the apartment's central boiler, which made additional noise throughout the day and night. We had planned to sightsee in the mornings, rest in the room during the hottest hours, and go out again in the evenings. Unfortunately, the room wasn't relaxing because of the heat, the constant noise, and the need to keep the blinds closed all day to block the sun, making it feel even darker. My husband was particularly disappointed with the overall comfort. We paid almost €800 for our stay but only used the room for two nights. We explained why we had to leave early, but unfortunately we didn't receive any refund. We weren't expecting a full refund, but we had hoped for at least a small gesture of goodwill. Overall, I think this accommodation is a good choice for younger travelers or anyone planning to spend most of the day exploring Rome. If comfort is a priority, it may be worth spending a little more.

The best place in Rome to stay if you are 1 or 2 travellers.

The owner reached out to me prior to my arrival to ensure details and set up any accommodations necessary. This attentiveness was maintained throughout my stay. The room and the facilities were clean, everything operated as it should. I could not have had a better experience.

Nothing negative to say.

Nice property in this budget

Everything was perfect for us, the room and bathroom are quite large compared to most. Even though the accommodation is in a housing complex, everything is renovated and clean. Jane our host puts great emphasis on the comfort of the guests, we felt this from the beginning when she welcomed us to the accommodation, showed us what we could visit in the area and advised us with everything we needed. The accommodation does not serve a set breakfast but you always have a fridge with products from which you can prepare your own breakfast (coffee, milk, eggs, ham, butter, cheese, bread and juice) all of this is in a shared but very well equipped kitchen. we felt at home without missing anything. The property is very well located, a few minutes from Termini central station or the Colosseum, there is a tram ( line 3 or bus 51 ; 75 ; 85 ; 87) stop nearby and a bus stop (bus 714 or 75) right in front of the accommodation, on the street there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and a supermarket nearby
