10.0We had a wonderful stay. Frank was an excellent host, very welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. The room was spotless, spacious, and exceptionally quiet, with very large, comfortable beds that made for a great night's sleep. We also loved having direct access to the garden, and meeting the lovely cat was a special bonus that made our stay even more memorable.

10.0Gorgeous neighbourhood- we felt like locals for a few days. Everything we saw was walking distance, including museums. We luckily had the use of the kitchenette to ourselves and Frank replenished the breakfast items during our stay. We had eggs, cold cuts and toast, delicious coffee and a range of teas. We also used the kitchen table to hang out and have a drink during the day between outings. A definite highlight was the Saturday markets only a few minutes away- a huge range of hot foods, produce and also a flea market. Very glad we experienced this, recommended by Frank. He also recommended restaurants, museums and our discussions about living in Amsterdam were very interesting. Highly recommend, ensure you book ahead.

9.0Location was wonderful. Great part of the city, lots of shops and restaurants, and easy to walk to most museums and attractions. The beds were comfortable. The room was a little warm but the host said it was unseasonably warm while we were there. Stairs could be challenging for some as they are quite steep but that is consistent with Amsterdam houses.

10.0Die Lage ist perfekt, man kann die ganze Innenstadt und große Teile des Grachtengürtels direkt vom Quartier aus zu Fuß erkunden. Frank ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber - freundlich, hilfsbereit und großzügig. Wir haben uns dort wirklich zu Hause gefühlt.
