Hot, bothered and wouldn't recommend

Struggle to get anyone to open the external gate on arrival. Internal decor was welcoming but bedrooms were below par

− Too much crammed into small rooms - one had to sit on the bed as the other moved around - too hot despite an AC control panel, when questioned with the front desk I was informed there was no AC in the rooms - probably the worst sleep I've had staying away from home. No instructions on cooker oven and figured this out by trial and error - bathroom, not enough room to swing a cat !!!!

Great modern apartment in good location for weekend away

Good location, lovely clean apartment. Comfy bed, had everything we needed. Nice outdoor area and lots of other areas but we didnt use.

− No air-con was far too hot in rooms and the fans provided didnt do a lot!

The area is really nice but the heat was unbearable.

Very close to the tube which was nice, outside looked clean. They area around looked nice and friendly. Staff was friendly upon arrival.

− I understand that there’s no air conditioning but one night it was 33 inside our room, the fan did nothing and it always felt like the heating was on inside the stairwell/ hall way.The shower had no seal, could see it was an existing problem from the state of the lower wall.

The territory is very green and clean! The building is new and the shared space is available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bus stop is 3 min from the hotel and the metro station is 10 min by walk.

− There is NO CONDITIONING at all. In the room it was hotter than outside. The portable fan was in the room, but it didn’t help at all. And we wasn’t there in the heatwave!!! There is no dining table, but there is a kitchen, where is the logic? The room is extremely small. We stayed for 10 days and there were no cleaning and they didn’t even changed the towels. But considering the prices for staying in London, this option is manageable.

For the high price we paid, we expected much more in terms of room comfort, cleanliness and quality

The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The common areas for reading, working and relaxing are a real plus, especially for people travelling for work. The fridge, stove and shower all worked fine.

− The room heat was the biggest problem: during the July heat wave we woke up every day to 31–33°C inside the room – hotter than outside. Two fans were provided but were not enough, making sleep very uncomfortable. This is likely only a summer issue, as there is central heating for winter, but in hot weather it is a serious problem. Cleanliness also fell short: dirty/dusty floor, a considerable and very visible amount of dust around the heating pipes below the TV, fat/oil marks not properly cleaned on the stove, a water boiler that released particles into the water after a few uses, and small bits of cotton inside the bedsheets. There was no housekeeping, towel or linen change during our 4-night stay. Cleaning must be requested as an extra service, but the only mention of this is a brief reference to “mid-stay cleans” inside a link of additional services in the pre-arrival message – very easy to miss – and there is no note in the room or bathroom explaining it, so we only found out at the end of the stay. The bed is a wall-mounted type fixed in place (headboard attached to the wall, single iron bar at the foot) and feels flimsy – every time you sit on it, it seems about to break. The curtains do not block the morning sun, the WiFi only reached half of the room, and the room is cramped, with little space to move around. The lighting is quite poor for applying make-up. The entrance gate is very heavy – difficult for older or less strong guests. At check-out, housekeeping was knocking on our door before the check-out hour, which felt unnecessarily pressuring..
