Perfect Location & Stunning Views!
10.0I did a lot of research before booking this place since the reviews were quite mixed. In the end, I chose it for the location, modern design, cleanliness, and amazing views—and I wasn’t disappointed! While the apartment lacked some amenities typically included in house rentals in the U.S., like basic spices in the kitchen, extra towels, and blankets, this wasn’t a big issue for my group. Plus, I was aware of these beforehand, so it didn’t impact our stay. This apartment is in a fantastic neighborhood, with a bakery, cafés, and restaurants just down the alley. It took us less than 10 minutes to walk to Istiklal Avenue, and the location in Galata is incredibly convenient—just a few minutes from Galata Tower and close to all major attractions. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are about a 10-minute drive away, but we preferred walking (around 35 minutes), which was a great way to explore the city. The building has an elevator, but keep in mind the apartment itself is two-story, with all bedrooms on the first floor and the living room and kitchen upstairs. The highlight was the balcony with stunning views! One thing to note is that the house is on a steep alley, and the entire neighborhood has lots of uphill and downhill streets. It wasn’t an issue for our group since we love walking, and the charm and character of the area made it totally worth it. Plus, after indulging in all the amazing food, we appreciated the extra workout! Overall, everything met or exceeded my expectations, and I would rate it 10/10!
