Cleanliness and Communication fell short of expectations
5.0It’s in a quiet neighbourhood.
− Communication from host is slow or completely radio silence- there were many messages sent to the host for check-in instructions on the day of check-in and cleaning was not thorough. We had to contact the host for him to send the cleaning team again to clean up one of the bedroom and settle the dirty washing machine. We didn’t get to use one of the bathroom as it’s scalding hot water that’s being dispensed, making showering impossible. Mattresses have put squeaky noise and are uncomfortable.
Could be fantastic but quite a lot of things that could’ve been avoided let it down.
7.0Very spacious,light and airy.Good location.Comfy beds.
− Towels were dirty.We had to ring for a code to get the key even though it should’ve been on the table.There were dirty trays and fish slice in the oven.The toilet roll was running very low.We had to wait until one thing was cooked before we could cook another as there was only 1 large baking tray.I had to sleep on a mattress protector as there was no sheet on the bed.There was quite a lot of dust on the panels of the doors.The place could do with a lick of paint.
Nice place but not good hosts.
3.0− The host made a mistake and gave the wrong room, said we’d be able to move to the proper one the following day not instantly when enquired about and even said they wouldn’t give a part refund even though it was a mistake on their side. I paid for a room with balcony and didn’t get that and couldn’t get part of my money back either.
It did the job but I would not stay there again or recommend.
6.0Spacious bedrooms
− Bedroom with en-suite poorly furnished. No mirrors or pictures. Not a single knife to cook or cut bread with just standard cutlery. Short on mugs and glasses and the house smelt of stale smoke.
