Disappointing experience – poor building conditions, hygiene issues, and excessive noise

The location is convenient, with the Underground station within short walking distance.

− I booked this apartment in December for a family stay while visiting London with our baby. The photos online looked promising, and the apartment itself was acceptable in size and basic comfort. Unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly below expectations. From the moment we arrived, the condition of the building was concerning. The entrance and stairwell to the second floor were very dirty, dusty, poorly maintained, and surrounded by construction materials. This created a very bad first impression and was quite embarrassing when welcoming family members. Inside the apartment, there were several serious issues: 1. A dirty mop was left next to the dining table in the kitchen, with a very strong and unpleasant smell. It was so bad that I had to remove it from the apartment temporarily to avoid feeling sick. 2. The sofa and cushions were extremely dusty. When I moved the pillows, visible dust spread into the air. I suffer from dust-mite allergies, and this triggered severe symptoms (runny nose, coughing, watery and painful eyes) for several days, which completely affected our stay and our ability to enjoy the city. 3. The boiler in the living room was exceptionally loud, sounding like an aircraft engine during operation, making it very uncomfortable to rest, especially with a baby. Overall, while the apartment may look acceptable in photos, the reality was very different due to hygiene standards, building condition, and noise. I would not choose this property again and would advise future guests, especially families or people with allergies, to be very cautious.

The location is excellent, and there's a subway station nearby. Unfortunately, the subway was not operating when my friend and I visited those days.

− The plastic covering like clingfilm on the entrance floor. The building site in front of the flats. It was in need of updating.
