The view

− I would not recommend this host. The entire experience was marked by unprofessionalism and a lack of organization. Prior to my arrival, I confirmed my travel plans, only to be informed upon arrival that the property had been double-booked. It appeared as though the host prioritized a higher-paying guest over me, which was never communicated upfront. This left me feeling like my accommodation was no longer a priority. There was no explanation for why she waited so long to inform me of the mistake on her part. To make matters worse, she had a random man escort me to a secondary rental property in my own car, with an additional, unrelated woman accompanying us. When we arrived, the new property was not prepared for guests; it was clear that it had not been cleaned, despite the host's business partner assuring me it would be. The cleanliness of the property was subpar, with dusty, musty furniture, mold on the shower floor, and dirty sheets. There was also no laundry detergent provided, and a loud, odd ringing noise from the downstairs bathroom after each flush was unsettling. There were people there and it appeared as though they were lodging there. They were probably instructed to leave as well as prepare the space for the arrival of a new guest (i.e me). I was also very concerned about safety hazards, such as the lack of a smoke alarm and no hot water upon arrival. When I mentioned the hot water issue, the host suggested I shower at her personal home, which was both inappropriate and unsafe. While she did resolve the issue the following day, the situation was highly inconvenient. To compensate for these issues, she initially offered me a $100 discount, but upon my return to the original booking, she retracted the offer and offered only a $50 discount, citing the short distance between properties. She informed me that the guests that she agreed to have stay at the location I originally booked decided to cancel, so she wanted me to drive back with the strangers
