10.0The flat was charming just as advertised. Clean, cozy, comfortable, good beds, good bathroom, good air flow. Good fans for the London heatwave. Perfect location. Chelsea is wonderful. Totally quiet at night, even on the weekends. We had a wonderful stay
I will be back :-)
10.0This is a very comfortable, very beautiful and spacious appartment with all possible amenities (bar the washing machine :-)) filled with lovely furniture, paintings, photographs and china. The terrace and conservatory are an added bonus. Location is great - lots of buses connecting you to the centre of London as well as the tube station. The kitchen is immaculately furnished for any of your cooking needs and spotlessly clean. Bed is very comfortable with good pillows. The restaurants below are high quality so no noisy crowd. Marks&Spencer Food and a very high end deli are very close by with choice of good ready made meals if you do not wish to cook. The area is walkable and interesting by itself. There's a lot of light (big French windows) which is a great change from a typical London hotel room where the windows can be almost non existent.
− There is quite a lengthy guide to read before you arrive and please do read it. UK window hardware is very different from the continental and you need to know how to open the windows (look: the guide + extra keys). Use bus 14 (very short ride) to get to the tube station, it's a bit too much to walk if you're tired after the whole day of sightseeing. There are 3 or 4 fans but no air conditioning - draw the curtains in the main room before you leave in the morning - it's a west facing room and can get quite hot in high summer (obviously an advantage in cooler months). The conservatory gets quite hot in the morning (east facing) so close the door between the conservatory and the bedroom. Just small things but I hope they will make your stay even nicer.
