Very convenient location. It was clean and had all that we needed.

− The Murphy bed really leans on one side when you raise or lower the bed. Hydraulics don’t seem to work quite right. Could also use a pillow that is softer. Hurt my neck because they were too tall.

Hope to stay there again.

The location and cleanliness. Also all my questions and concerns were answered quickly. It had all we needed. Great communication.

The location is convenient, but was borderline seedy. There was enough overflow from times square that there was a lot of homeless in the street, smoking weed, etc. We have a young child so we didn't love that. The room itself was really clean, which I appreciated.

− In categories: Price: -other rooms in the building rent for less; we paid 30-50% more than others. This property management company will even offer a lower price directly. Facilities: -For our first two days, there was NO hot water. Management said the heater was fixed the week before, but it was not. After day 2, the water was scalding hot or cold, no in between. I had to use a water bottle to bathe my young child, sitting him at the back of the tub to avoid scalding. -The building is more run down than expected, especially the public areas (lobby, elevator, shared laundry and "kitchen," just a series of hot plates). The room was well cared for and small, but comfortable except for -The AC: a window unit that couldn't keep up with the heat. The bathroom has no ventilation, so we opened a window in 100 degree heat just to breathe, and the room stayed hot for hours. My husband was uncomfortable our whole stay, especially showering. -Electricity: you're warned it's an old building, so running multiple 'high usage' items at once blows a fuse. I couldn't blow dry my hair with the AC on. If you plan on doing your hair, or visit when a heater's needed, this isn't the property for you. -The street is in the uber blackout area, so often you can't be picked up or dropped off right outside. Management: -They are nice, but not accommodating. I called to cancel the second part of our stay (booked separately) and refund it over the water and AC issues, and they refused. I could cancel and hope my dates rebooked for a credit, but they wouldn't say how much, or confirm a refund if we booked elsewhere and our room stayed empty. We'd already pre-paid thousands, so couldn't risk it without a clear answer. They called AC and hot water "amenities." I don't consider those a nice-to-have. -My son also left a small gold chain in the room.

Beds were comfy, clean bedding, good location

− The facilities were very poor, the description on web site are not true to word. No information in the room to explain things, no kettle or toaster as were on description.

Amazing location, clean, quite spacious, laundry room

− Would appreciate different kitchenware - real cups and spoons and a kettle rather than a weird coffee maker and a microwave

− The door handle was damaged and not secure The facilities listed are communal Further communications were given after reservation and payment that we are not to talk to anyone in the building and that to say we were friends of theirs staying. Further communications that we can only have 1 electrical appliance plugged in at a time. We felt unsafe in the building and in the apartment and the extra requirements and information after reservation meant that we were not able to make an informed decision on staying here. Further the apartment is very small and the bathroom extremely small.
